Dear family, near and abroad,
We are back in our building, only because of God's great favour. It is still a work in progress, there are still incidentals that need to be purchased and installed, some big-ticket items (instruments and sound equipment, carpeting) and smaller items such as curtains and decorations, but we are "home". Thank you so much for your faithful prayers, your encouraging phone calls/texts/emails/letters. What a testimony to how God has used you in our lives, and how He has used us in yours. We have uploaded current photos down below, there are more to come. Thank you for journeying with us! To God be the glory, honour, and power... Amen!

We have come so far in such a short time frame! God is so incredibly good! We are moving back into our own building the first Sunday in July, the 5th. The interior looks amazing, see the photos below, we've added updated photos. The new ceiling tiles, fans, and tile lights look amazing. We still have the carpet, curtains, and music equipment to source but it is now a workable building.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support. We appreciate the opportunity to watch God do what He does best, take care of His people. We look forward to seeing you join us at church. Soli Deo Gloria!!

The new acoustic panels for the drop ceiling inside the church is nearly done with all of the electricals being started next week. We have an amazing team of ladies that have raised their hands to form the core of the "redecorating/renovating committee" and put together a new colour scheme, interior design, and carpet colour for the flooring. We are so excited to be able to reimagine what the inside is going to look like and give it a fresh, new face! The costing has happened for all of the sound and musical equipment that got damaged so hopefully the replacing of these items will soon be next on the schedule. Keep your eyes peeled as we will definitely be posting photos of the upgrades and newness of the insides. Thank you again for all of your prayers! God continues to show up in amazing ways and tells us daily that He isn't finished with us yet. We are so honoured that He would use us in the amazing ways that He has so far and there are so many more ministry opportunities on the horizon.
For now we will continue to meet Sunday mornings at 9:00am with our Anglican friends at their building (8 Pelias St) until the building is finished. Thank you for being a part of journey, whether present or past... we wouldn't be here if it weren't for you!

Restoration has begun on the church! Praise God and His provision! Lots of fun things happening inside the church, it looks so empty and bare and big! Been a long time since parts of our fellowship hall have been visible. We will continue to update here with photos in the slides below. Please continue to pray for God's favour as the repair work continues. Thank you again, over and over, to everyone who has prayed, shared their bounty with us, came by for an encouraging word, and a peek at what's happening. We appreciate all of it, every part of it. What an amazing God and family we share together with each of you.

Insurance quotes have been submitted and it looks like repairs on the building could begin as soon as next week! How good is God and His timing? As it seems a bit pointless to try and go back into our own space while repairs are happening, we will continue to meet in unity with the Anglican community at their building through to the middle of June. Keep an eye on the home page here for more current information on our timeline for moving back into our church. Until then, please don't stay away! We would love to have you join us (8 Pelias) as we lift our voices together in worship and then hear a challenging message from Pastor Keith each Sunday.

To our church family, here and afar:
Many of you have watched our town struggle in the aftermath of ex-TC Narelle. Many of you have prayed for God's protection and provision as we do our best to recover. This process has many facets and there is still so much repair work to be done. Whilst we are nowhere close to being ready to open the church building back up for regular worship services, God is amazingly good and faithful and has met our every need in ways that we never imagined.
Many of you have asked what we are doing for Sunday services: For the time being, our Anglican church family has graciously offered us the use of their church building for a Sunday morning community service until such a time we are able to return to our own church and resume services there. This fills two immediate critical needs as the Anglicans are currently without a pastor and we are without an operational building. Praise God for moments like this to show our community our unified response to difficulties and challenges! You can still join us on Sunday mornings at 9am at the Exmouth Anglican Community Church located at 8 Pelias St. We would love to see you!
This does mean though that many of our regular weekly meetings (ie Bible studies, women's gatherings, and other extra ministries) are on hold as we all try to put our homes and our community back together. If you are a regular visitor to our town and church family, please don't stay away! We would love to see you if your accommodation allows, but it may mean that if you ask how you can help, we will likely have a practical working list for you to be able to do so.
It also means that many of you who follow our YouTube channel for our weekly sermon videos are probably missing out right now. Since the cyclone damage, Keith has been unable to get the video camera to work despite his very best efforts. With Cheryl being in the USA, she is sourcing a new camera to bring home with her and we believe that will fix the camera issue. Thank you for your patience as we work through the little things that were unexpected.
We have repeatedly been asked how we are doing financially and if there is still financial assistance needed for repairs. That is a complicated but very cool answer. God has provided the funding to cover our insurance excess over and above what is required to do the basic repairs on the building. However, that being said, there are other extra items that will need to be covered that insurance will only cover a fraction of. IF you feel that God has led you to help with the extra burden of replacing sound equipment, musical instruments, extra things of that nature for our church, you can find our banking details here at this link...
Just as God has already shown Himself provisional in EVERY way, He will continue to be glorified in so many ways we aren't even aware of yet. So, please don't just continue to pray for us as a church, but pray also for our town and our community. Please continue to pray that God will give us real opportunities to serve residents in a practical fashion that will hopefully lead to open doors and conversations down the road. This is where it gets real and we are humbled that God has invited us to walk beside Him through this.
