Our Next Generation
We are humbled that the Lord has entrusted us with the next generation of our church! There are several age-appropriate programs that you can involve your children in when you join us for worship...
1. There is a creche/nursery available each week for our smallest members aged three years and under only. For the safety of our littlest members, older siblings are not allowed in the creche. If you would like to take advantage of this ministry, the creche/nursery can be found opposite the toilets down the hallway in the back of the church.
*All of our children's ministry workers have up-to-date "Working With Children" cards and additional documented training (COCWA Safe) relevant to the church environment.
2. Every fortnight, our primary school-aged children are released just after communion for Children's Church, held across the street from the church. They learn valuable Bible lessons and truths through Bible stories, activities, and games. The children are then returned back to the church after the final worship song.
3. Opposite fortnights to Children's Church, just before the sermon, children, ages 3+, are invited to come forward where Pastor Keith shares a children's story that is relevant to the sermon. They then go back to their parents with busy bags that contain coloured pencils, activity sheets, with a special treat waiting for those who complete their pages from Ms. Cheryl.

Churches of Christ in WA takes seriously the Bible's teaching regarding all people in our society, in particular the concern for the vulnerable and children. The purpose of Safe Training is to equip and encourage Church and ministry leaders of the importance of implementing policies and procedures that protect staff, volunteers, members/visitors, minors and the vulnerable. It is about promoting and championing a safe church culture!
